Usefulness of submitting the entire appendix specimens after initial unremarkable pathological findings with representative sections: a pilot study

Background: The Royal College of Pathologists Australasia recommends submission the entire specimen for examination in macroscopically normal appendices, but there is no strong evidence to justify this practice.
